I've been researching 20+ minutes before EVERY dungeon run (not even boss battle!) trying to figure out where I went wrong last time and I still get my ass beat in the first few fights. It's gotten to the point that it feels like a job, not a game. I have read so many guides, watched hours of YouTube videos trying to understand how classes work with each other. Learn how to party comp, equip the right trinkets, make sure you are equiping the right attacks and camp skills, make sure you are well provisioned, make sure your heroes quirks match the dungeon you're going into, make sure you can hit all the ranks, move economy is everything so make sure you are stunning/DOTing, research the boss, etc, etc."
I've seen the responses: "You're just not understanding the game and strategy. I simply cannot do the higher level dungeons without it turning into a ♥♥♥♥ show.Īnd trust me, I've seen the posts like mine before. I've been playing this game for a little while now, but it has stopped being any fun. I'm not looking for tips, or to be chastised for not playing the game "correctly", but having just suffered through another un-fun dungeon loss, I just need to vent for a minute.
